Ken Russell is a small business owner turned community activist who is serving his second term as a Miami City Commissioner. He is running for U.S. Congress to clean Washington up.
Ken entered politics after leading an effort to clean up a contaminated park across the street from his house. It was through this effort that he learned the power of community organizing to drive real change. This taught him that public service is about rolling up ones sleeves and solving problems together.
His success as a community organizer led to a run for local office and, as the underdog, he pulled off the win against the establishment candidate in one of the state’s largest cities. Before entering politics, Ken Russell was a successful international businessman and entrepreneur. Ken has traveled to over 50 countries and speaks four different languages. Now, Ken is ready to take on Florida’s biggest challenge yet: Maria Salazar.
